Air Traffic Radar Simulation Development Course 15550

DESCRIPTION

This course will teach participants how to build Air Traffic Control Scenarios, utilizing Create 2000 software. System configuration, airspace, airports, approaches, maps, pilot and controller functions are also taught. The system is operates from normal pc platforms and is designed for controller training and airspace analysis.

OBJECTIVES

With references and in accordance to the Create 2000 users manual and utilizing a pc you will be able to:
  • Develop approach or enroute airspace
  • Build navaids and routes in airspace
  • Divide airspace into sectors
  • Build airports and approaches in airspace
  • Input simulation scenarios for airspace
  • Perform pilot functions for simulation scenarios
  • Perform controller functions for simulation scenarios

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is designed for countries that intend to install in house radar simulation controller training or do airspace analysis utilizing a simulation tool. The participants should have a working knowledge of Windows 98 or greater and have or have access to networking capability.

Prerequisites: A minimum of one year of licensed radar experience is preferred.
