CNS/ATM Course 15551

DESCRIPTION

A five-day course designed to provide Air Traffic Service (ATS) personnel with an understanding of developments in communications, satellite based navigation and surveillance technologies and their impact on air traffic management. The training is intended to prepare these personnel for the gradual phase-in of new systems and to enable them to make informed recommendations to their civil aviation administrations regarding air traffic requirements.

OBJECTIVES

  • Familiarize the participant with the applications of communications, navigation and surveillance systems.
  • Familiarize the participant with the use of technology in the implementation of these systems.
  • Assist participants in planning for future aviation needs.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is intended for mid- to upper-level management and any other personnel affected by the implementation of CNS/ATM.
