FAR Part 135, Air Carrier Operations Course 22100

DESCRIPTION

This ten-day course is for general operations inspectors and specialists whose duties include the certification, inspection, and surveillance of air taxi operators and operations. The objective of this course is to train these personnel in the regulations, policies, procedures, and documentation required to satisfy the agency’s responsibilities regarding air taxi operations.

OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
  • Act as certification project manager in the certification of a limited size and scope operator as defined in FAA Order 8400.10.
  • Serve as an active member of a certification team in the certification of an FAR 135 air carrier.
  • Under the direction and guidance of a principal operations inspector, perform required surveillance/ inspections of a 135 air carrier.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Newly assigned general aviation operations inspectors and specialists whose duties include the certification, inspection, and surveillance of air carriers operating under FAR Part 135.
