DESCRIPTION This course provides training for technicians and engineers of the Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR)-9, Type FA-10064. The course is 97 hours Academy lecture and 143 Academy laboratory. Lecture and laboratory subjects include introduction/system overview, remote monitoring subsystem (RMS), system control. Power supplies, frequency generator, synchronizers, transmitters, receiver/processors, post processor, surveillance and communications interface processor (SCIP), modems, maintenance display, and antenna. There are fours written exams and one practical exam. COURSE LENGTH: 240 Hours. |
