SkillSoft E-learning Models

SkillSoft developed these tools to help employees quickly determine which e-learning courses are relevant to their job. These models identify the knowledge, attitudes and skills employees need to develop to improve performance in their current job or to prepare for other jobs. SkillSoft recommended the courses that correspond to the knowledge, attitudes and skills for various job functions. A description of the matching course is available via the Internet by clicking on the course number. By assessing your current knowledge, attitudes and skills against the model, you can determine where any deficiencies exist. Employees/supervisors can use this information to develop learning plans/individual training and development plans (IDPs) to bridge the gap.

These tools may be used in a variety of ways, and should be seen as a starting point that may require some modification for your specific use. These are only guides to assist employees and supervisors.
